The successor to the BM-5AS features improved colorimetry and offers high-speed, high-precision measurement capabilities.

- Color accuracy improved
- Five measurement angles can be selected and switched, allowing for measurement of everything from fine surfaces to large areas.
- With a built-in analog output port, data can be recorded and waveforms observed when connected to an oscilloscope.
- With a high-speed response of up to 0.05ms, the rise and fall response characteristics of the scintillation source can be observed.
