■ Application Functions

- The instrument is designed with an optical dark box and light barriers or partitions, eliminating the need for a darkroom.

- Based on the type of lamp being tested, a corresponding print report is generated, which can be directly saved as a PDF file for easy communication and archiving.

■ Basic characteristics and principles
The unit of luminous intensity is the candela (cd). If the total luminous flux emitted by a light source in all directions of space is Φ, then the average luminous intensity of the light source is I0 = Φ/4π. The luminous intensity of a real light source is not uniformly distributed in all directions. The distribution curve should be plotted in polar coordinates according to the actual distribution of luminous intensity, which is called the spatial light intensity distribution curve or light distribution curve.
